Fuzzy & The Rustbelts were born from a place where lyrics and music form an all American experience. Where stories take center stage and transport listeners to another place. Drawing from influences focused within the Americana genre where folk, country, and rock 'n roll blend together – Fuzzy & The Rustbelts have created a sound that appeals to a vast audience. It is a sound that chugs along like a freight train and lifts you up, offering hope and a chance to begin again.
At the close of 2018, Fuzzy was a top 2 finalist in the Buffalo Country Radio 106.5 WYRK - 2019 Taste of Country Hometown Riser Competition. Since that time Fuzzy & The Rustbelts continued to see success at the local level with a sold out 2019 album release show and were later featured in the well renowned Sportsman’s Americana Music Foundation’s “Emerging Artist Series.”
Their current album, That Sweet Song, has been met with glowing reviews from local, national and international media outlets. In late 2019, Fuzzy & The Rustbelts debuted their first music video and were featured on nationally recognized Americana Roots Music Television network, DittyTV. Throughout 2019, the band shared stages and festivals with national touring artists: The Talbott Brothers, Christian Lopez, Jeremy Pinnell, The Pernikoff Brothers, Mitchell Tenpenny, Maddie & Tae, Rodney Atkins, Brothers Osborn, Alison Krauss, Bonnie Raitt, and Willie Nelson.
At the start of December 2019, Fuzzy & The Rustbelts took another shot and became one of six finalists in the Buffalo Country Radio 106.5 WYRK - 2020 Taste of Country Hometown Riser Competition. After and long evening of performing against some of Western New York's best country acts, Fuzzy & The Rustbelts "won" the competition. They will perform at the Toyota Taste of Country concert with Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Midland, and Maddie & Tae at Sahlen's Field, Buffalo, New York.
